A deposit of £4.50 is required per glass, returned when you bring the glass back (or you can keep the glass as a souvenir!)

Following on from our Hucknall Heritage Commemorative glass in 2017 to celebrate 20 years of the Hucknall Beer Festival and our Canon John Godber glass to celebrate 110 years of the John Godber Centre in 2018 this year we decided to honour our local Hucknall Heroes.
The hero has been voted on by the public through a social media vote on facebook and twitter to choose a local celebrity to feature on the 2019 glass.

The choices were:

  • Ada Lovelace - mathematician & pioneer of calculating & computing machines
  • Lord Byron - celebrated poet & father of Ada Lovelace.
  • Ben Caunt - famous bare knuckle boxer, the "Torkard Giant" or "Big Ben".
  • Eric Coates - celebrated composer, such as "The Dam Busters March".
Ada Lovelace was chosen to be the local hero for the 2019 glass with the majority vote on both Twitter and Facebook
